Terms of Service

1. Service description

Recallix is an iOS application that records meetings, provides AI-powered transcription with speaker identification, extracts summaries and action items, and allows you to export the results. By using Recallix, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Account

You must create an account to use Recallix. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

3. Service tiers

Recallix offers two tiers:

• Free: Up to 10 minutes per recording and 60 minutes per month. AI transcription and insight extraction included.
• Pro: Up to 60 minutes per recording, unlimited monthly minutes, Reminders export, and search. Requires an active subscription.

We reserve the right to modify tier limits with reasonable notice.

4. Consent to record

You are solely responsible for obtaining consent from all participants before recording any meeting. Recording laws vary by jurisdiction. Many require all-party consent. Recallix is not responsible for any unauthorized recordings. We strongly recommend informing all participants before starting a recording.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Record conversations without the required consent of all parties.
• Use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the source code of the application.
• Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
• Abuse the service in ways that degrade performance for other users.

6. Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. All payments, refunds, and billing disputes are governed by Apple's terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

7. AI-generated content

Transcripts, summaries, and action items are generated by AI and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before acting on it. Recallix does not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated output.

8. Your content

You retain all rights to your recordings and the transcripts generated from them. We do not claim ownership of your content. We only process your content as necessary to provide the service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

Recallix is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Recallix after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
